Always a trailblazer, Worldbex Services International (WSI) presents this year’s Manila Food and Beverages Expo (MAFBEX) in a different platform — the virtual space. Adapting to extensive changes brought about by the effects of COVID 19, WSI rose to the occasion of connecting entrepreneurs, F&B professionals and various businesses in the food industry via MAFBEX WIRED.
A month-long event, MAFBEX WIRED kicked off last August 8 with its first activity called MAFBEX TALKS. Started at 4 in the afternoon, MAFBEX TALKS was all about sharing information about e-commerce, digital marketing and other acumens by some industry experts. Present during the telecast were Saul Molla, CEO of FlowerStorePH and MiniMartPH, who talked about the elements of online selling; Rolan Garcia, Co-Founder of Neighbourly, he discussed about hyperlocal community commerce, and Mark Dee, Director/Head of Growth and Marketing of Paymaya, who educated viewers about digital payments and its advantages. Mike Palacios was the moderator of the 2-hour informative event. Viewers were welcomed to post their questions to the panelists who gladly answered the questions thrown at them. Needless to say, it was an afternoon of getting the lowdown about growing trends in e-commerce, online marketing and digitized payments that are slowly becoming part of our lives.
MAFBEX TALKS was a great way to start this year’s Manila Foods and Beverages Expo in the digital world. Get ready for the other 3 exciting highlights coming this month – Mafbex Basics, Mafbex Cooks and Mafbex Mixed.
